In town, on the beaches, and all through the colonias you will encounter 'street food' vendors. Carts, pots, baskets and coolers loaded with many different types of local foods and snacks. Don't be afraid to give them a try, you are in for a treat!
We especially love the tamales from the tamale lady, the Tuggui cart freezies, Louie's popcorn (he rides around on a tricycle), and corn on the cob.
